Every once in a while I realize that my font library starts growing like weeds and takes over my hard drive’s life, it comes time to have to purge (sad face). Saying goodbye to a font is like throwing away a special memory. I must have a disability because I can never get enough of them. So when I come across new fonts and typographic treatments I can’t help but feel myself be taken away to another place. Type is just as important as color to me in that has a great responsibility of conveying specific emotions.
Check out my latest finding: A Letter A Day . A cool blog on which designer Jaime Van Wart posts a new hand-drawn font or single character every day.
Mmmmm.
